Compact Production Systems — from 500 tonnes/year
Mineral 7 has developed technologies and equipment for relatively low-capacity production of basalt mineral fiber and insulation materials.
Compact systems can be considered for production capacities starting from approximately 500 tonnes per year, depending on the raw material, product requirements, production configuration and operating regime.
Such installations may be particularly appropriate for:
- regional markets where large production capacity is not economically justified;

Raw Material Preparation & Dosing
The preparation system is developed according to the characteristics of the selected basalt, gabbro, diabase, dolomite, slag or other mineral components and the required batch composition.

Melting Technology
The melting system is one of the most important technological decisions in a mineral wool plant.

Fiberization

Fiber Collection & Mat Formation
Stable fiber distribution across the production width is essential for achieving uniform density and product properties.
Forming chamber aerodynamics, aspiration, conveyor operation and subsequent mat formation must operate as one coordinated system.
Binder Application
Binder type, concentration, distribution and application conditions influence product strength, dimensional stability, curing behaviour and emissions.
Binder technology must therefore be integrated with both fiberization and curing.
Pendulum & Fiber Orientation

Curing
